Privacy Policy

Effective July 7, 2026

Lead Megaphone (“Lead Megaphone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds and operates an AI teammate for U.S. manufacturers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website and the AI teammate service, including any data we access from your Google Account when you connect it.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and contact information you give us, such as your name, business name, email address, and the details you share when you book a call or set up your teammate.
  • Google user datayou authorize us to access through Google’s OAuth consent screen (described in section 2).
  • Service content you provide so the teammate can do its work, such as instructions, documents, and the context of the tasks you ask it to handle.
  • Usage and technical data, such as basic logs of when jobs run and whether they succeed, which we use to operate and support the service.

2. Google user data we access

With your explicit consent, and only after you approve the Google permission screen, the service may request these Google scopes:

  • Gmail send (gmail.send) — to send emails on your behalf, such as briefings, reports, quote follow-ups, and replies you ask the teammate to send.
  • Gmail read (gmail.readonly) — to read the messages and threads relevant to the tasks you assign, so the teammate can understand context and draft accurate responses.
  • Google Drive (drive) — to read and store the files the teammate needs to produce or reference its work, such as reports and supporting documents.

We request only the access needed to provide the features you ask for. You can review and revoke this access at any time (see section 8).

3. How we use information

We use the information above only to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the AI teammate service.
  • Perform the specific tasks you request, such as finding opportunities, drafting and sending emails, and generating reports.
  • Communicate with you about your account and support.
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not use your Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)

Lead Megaphone’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you have explicitly requested.
  • We do not transfer or sell Google user data for advertising, marketing, or any other unrelated purpose.
  • We do not use Google user data to train, develop, or improve generalized or standalone AI or machine learning models.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have your consent for a specific purpose (for example, to resolve a support issue you raise), it is necessary for security, or it is required by law.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the teammate, and only to the extent needed to provide the features you requested. These include:

  • Google— for the Gmail and Drive access you authorize.
  • Anthropic— our AI model provider. Relevant task content may be sent to Anthropic’s API solely to generate the outputs you asked for. This content is not used to train Anthropic’s models.
  • Infrastructure and hosting providers— that store service data securely on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.

6. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including restricted access, encrypted connections, and credential controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.

8. Your choices and how to revoke access

You can disconnect the service from your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Revoking access stops future data access; it does not affect work already completed at your request.

9. Children

The service is built for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.

11. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at omar@leadmegaphone.com.
